1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the HomeColab iOS app ("HomeColab" or the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
HomeColab is not intended for children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
3. Accounts
You may need an account to use certain features. HomeColab uses Sign in with Apple and/or Google Sign-In (via Firebase Authentication) for sign-in.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activities that occur under your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
4. Linking and Shared Spaces
The App allows you to link with another user (for example, a partner or roommate) to collaborate in a shared space. Content you add to a shared space may be visible to your linked partner.
5. User Content
You may submit content through the App, such as listing URLs, notes, votes, messages, and images ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant Magnetic Anomaly LLC a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely as needed to operate and improve the App (including showing it to you and your linked partner).
You represent and warrant that:
- You have the rights necessary to submit the User Content.
- Your User Content does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or its systems.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other accounts, or our systems.
- Use the App to transmit malware or other harmful code.
- Use the App in a manner that violates the rights of others.
7. Third-Party Services and Listings
The App integrates with third-party services (such as Firebase, Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, and mapping/preview services) to operate. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and policies.
HomeColab may help you organize information from third-party real estate websites. We are not affiliated with these websites, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or completeness of third-party content.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magnetic Anomaly LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
